Derik S. Berkebile, LCSW, CMH, C-DBT
Derik is the practice owner and a provider. He is a 2003 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown receiving his BS in Psychology. He then completed his Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. Derik also worked as an adjunct professor in the Pitt Graduate School of Social Work. He brings experience in treating a variety of addictions, geriatric mental health, depression and anxiety, trauma, marital/couples issues, grief/bereavement, personality disorders as well as various other conditions. Derik utilizes mindfulness based - cognitive behavioral therapy as the primary model of treatment but is also well-versed in various other treatment models such as interpersonal therapy, trauma-informed approaches, narrative therapy, and is also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Derik prides himself in allowing clients to feel comfortable sharing information that is very difficult to share without judgment and takes a compassionate and goal oriented approach to helping clients overcome the issues they face. Derik is able to accept most major insurances as well as Medicare and Medicaid (MA for Somerset and Bedford county residents only.)

Lisa is a Licensed Social Worker who is receiving her clinical training through the practice to become a LCSW. Lisa is an incredibly compassionate therapist who prides herself in giving her all to see clients be successful in navigating their mental health issues. She is currently able to accept commercial plans under UPMC, Highmark BC/BS, Optum, and Aetna. We are currently working to add Medicaid for Somerset and Bedford County residents as well as Medicare and the Medicare HMOs.

Kristie Berkebile, RN, BSN
Kristie assists with day-to-day operations for the practice such as billing, scheduling, and credentialing providers. She has a wealth of experience in program management as she was formerly the manager of three separate departments in her employment history. She will be assisting clients with scheduling issues as they arise, billing concerns and advocating for clients by contacting insurance companies for reimbursement of claims, and will be assisting the clinical staff with burdensome paperwork that the clinicians often do not have time to complete. As a non-clinical staff person, Kristie will not have access to client clinical information. She will only access the information needed for billing and reimbursement. Any time you reach her, you will be greeted with compassion and kindness, and she will gladly assist with whatever concerns you may have.
